Just hunting tomorrow, I will try and kill a few big deer tomorrow morning. We will meet at 6:00am and have a meal, then turn the dogs out and here we go. We hunt 6,700 acres. The best part, its only 30 mintues from my front door. I talked to the owner of the club and he told me I could catch some wild hogs, young ones, the big older ones will kill you. I'd rather have the young sows then all the deer in the woods. I eat venison but of course I also eat goat. The pig is the better eatin' of the two by far. Just don't waste a lot of money tryin to fatten the sumbitches out because it is a waste of time and effort. I've dome been there and tried that and found the sumbitches food conversion was about a pound of gain to 30 pounds of feed. Fuck that-just eat then when you shoot or trap them
ReplyDeletegawd, if you're looking for deer you need to head north! I've almost hit three in the past week or so and my husband and daughter DID hit one a couple of weeks ago; they're running rampant!!!
