Years ago, poor whites and blacks did all of the very hard and nasty jobs in america. Most of them went to farms and picked and planted food. Now, our government gives these poor whites and blacks more money on welfare than a cheap job would pay. Then the Mexicans started coming to america in thousands, just to work and make a better life for them. The less people that was born in america sits on there ass and don't work, the more Mexicans come to america for jobs. I say to the government, stop paying out so much money, for people that don't and will not work and then the Mexicans will not have any jobs to come to america for. This will stop a lot of the problems we are having now. Like everything else, the government always causes it's own problems.
Only thing wrong with the idea is if you have poor americans taking on these jobs they will have to be paid at least minimum wage which these employers will not do as long as they have willing undocumented people to do these jobs. It's not that we don't have americans to fill these jobs it's that the companies refuse to pay a living wage for these jobs.
ReplyDeleteCathreina, you have it all wrong, my family has many farms, farmers get a break on wages from the government. If we would do the jobs all over the USA, then the mexicans would not come here, because there would be no jobs for them. And stop the government from spending all of this money on them. Not only do they get free health and meds, they also get welfare. We can't hardly take care of americans, much less anyone else. It has to be a stopping point sometimes. I don't hate the mexicans, I hate my government for letting this all happen, and yes, it will get worst.
ReplyDeleteCatfish, you hit the nail on the head with your analysis. The govt has bought and a lot of poor American folks have sold out cheap to be on the dole. I would like to be optimistic, but I don't see the 'politicians' doing anything correctly. There is probably 2 dozen senators going to run for pres. and they think their only chance is to bribe the entitlement crowd. Oh, for a man who will say and do what is right and not what he thinks is expediant and wisdom for us to choose.
